AI does not replace the expert

In customs classification, false certainty is dangerous. A system that returns one code without sources and limitations may look impressive, but it is not safe for formal work.

TaricAI should work differently. The answer should include possible classifications, similar BTI/WIT decisions, short reasoning, missing information and links to source documents. This allows the user to independently assess whether the suggestion makes sense.

This approach is more honest and more practical. AI can accelerate analysis, but it should not hide uncertainty. The final decision remains with a human: a customs specialist, importer, exporter or the person responsible for the declaration.

That is why TaricAI is designed as an expert assistant, not an automatic system issuing binding classifications.
